“Be Good To Your Skin. You’ll Wear It Everyday For The Rest Of Your Life.”
Let’s Blog Over Skin Care …
My friends constantly ask me what’s in my makeup bag or asking me how I keep my skin glowing. I always laugh to myself because I feel that as of late my skin has been terrible. My diet and terrible sleep patterns are the main reasons as to why.
One of my goals for 2019 was to detox my body and get my skin back to its norm. My parents have always told me that a skin care regime for my dry skin is important, and I strive to make that a daily mandatory task. So today I’m blogging over all of my favorite products that I’m loving right now!
I am a huge fan of Fresh Soy Cleanser. I love that this is a do it all cleanser. It helps with keeping my dry skin hydrated, clean, and fresh. It’s really foamy and gentle so it doesn’t irritate your skin. It smells like cucumbers and it actually C L E A N S your skin. You can even use it to remove makeup.
When I’ve spent a night wearing makeup, I always use the Algenist Purifying & Replenishing Cleanser. It is really good for removing dirt and makeup, softening and purifying your skin. It always leaves my skin feeling balanced, nourished, and what’s even better is that it diminishes the appearance of pores.
When cleansing my skin I don’t use my hands or that weird brush that constantly needs the brush heads replaced. I splurged a little on the Luna Mini by Foreo. I L O V E this device. It really works for all skin types, and evening out uneven texture in your skin.
Exfoliation is the removal of dry and dead skin cells on the surface of the skin and helps many skin problems. It also increases blood circulation, which in turn helps you to achieve healthy and glowing skin. I use Olehenriksen Transforming Walnut Scrub. This is the good stuff, and such a life saver for dry skin.
Sugar Face Polish by Fresh is a miracle in a jar! A two-in-one face scrub and mask that buffs and hydrates with real brown sugar and strawberries.
I know I’ve been drinking too much, my diet sucks or I just need a break from makeup when those pimples start popping up. I’m a huge fan of GlamGlow Supermud Charcoal Treatment. I use this as a face mask, or I just use it directly on the bump when I see it. It clears my face up almost immediately.
You guys already know that I am a huge fan of The True Aqua Bomb by Belif. It is super lightweight and keeps my skin completely moisturized and hydrated without weighing it down. However, I have become obsessed with this Rose Deep Hydration Moisturizer by Fresh. It’s gel like, hydrating, and super refreshing. Did I mention that it smells so incredible. I’m walking around with my face smelling like rose petals! Yesterday I picked up the
PRESERVING MY YOUTH
Fresh Black Tea Firming Eye Cream is a must have. This was actually gifted to me, and I’ve been using it ever since. It’s eye cream that diminishes visible signs of aging, dark circles, and puffiness, while moisturizing and firming the eye area. I use it both in the morning and before bed.
I recently picked up the Lotus Face Cream also by Fresh. It’s a brand new product that is supposed to detoxify while minimizing signs of aging as you sleep.
Drink so much water!!! My friends and family have been noticing that when drinks are ordered for me I’m not drinking them. It seems the only thing that I even remotely want to drink is water. It’s so important to hydrate. Not only does it push out the toxins in your body, but it keeps your skin clean. It pushes out all of that bacteria and helps reduce the risk of acne or any other skin conditions we don’t want.
You don’t have to tell me twice to do this!! I’m not big on taking naps, but I am one to definitely sleep in. I am not a morning person whatsoever. However, that thing called “Beauty Sleep” is a real thing. Not sleeping can age you skin. You get fine lines, dark eyes, tired skin. Although it’s not always possible, I try to aim for 8 to 10 hours of sleep. Trust me when I say I need 10 sometimes.
