And Now These Three Remain: Faith, Hope & Love, But The Greatest of These Is Love.
Let’s Blog Over Love & Life…
Have you ever found yourself changing your priorities for someone else? Have you found yourself changing your entire purpose in life just for someone else? Because if you have… then that’s l o v e.
I never actually believed in love at first sight until seven years ago when my husband came into my life. It wasn’t exactly love at first sight though. Not for me. It wasn’t even ‘like’ for me. Our first kiss is what solidified our relationship. I can say that Ralph is my first love, and the love I have for him is unlike any love you could ever experience.
I don’t love easily. Love, for me, is an action. Not just a feeling. I find myself giving everything to the person that I love. As complicated as the topic of love can be, for me, love makes everything worthwhile.
We start out life doing everything we can to succeed. We make decisions and moves based on what we want and what makes us happy as individuals. Then you meet someone, or there’s a change somewhere that requires you to live on purpose for others. If you do this out of the goodness of your heart, that’s love.
What’s my point? Well.. no one has greater love or stronger affection that one willing to give up his own life for someone else. There’s also no greater love than Jesus Christ. In this love, you’ll find the true meaning of life, and your purpose in Him.
Christ lived, was beaten, bruised, spat on, mocked, persecuted to death, and buried. BUT he rose again. All was done for you and I. That’s love… and now he lives in power, and intercedes for us. All done in love for you and I.
These are trying times, and so many of my readers have sent me emails asking for words of encouragement. No matter what you’re going through know that you’ll get through it. Know that you’re loved.
Happy Monday!
