“It’s A Full Moon Tonight. That’s When All The Weirdos Are Out.”
Let’s Blog Over My Favorite Family Friendly Halloween Movie Favorites! 🎃
You ladies know I love to go big with Halloween and that includes watching allllll the Halloween movies! Now that Quatro is here I’m keeping it pretty PG so we can watch everything as a family and I thought it would be fun to make a list for you girls that you can pin and save for later or even print out and put on the fridge to check off as you watch.
I listed lots of family faves but a few of my must-watches include:
Maleficent – Your littles will love this movie for the magical forest kingdom but mama loves it for Angelina Jolie and her killer makeup vibes. Also, this movie isn’t too kiddie, so it’s one the parents can really enjoy too.
Practical Magic – All time classic! Why wouldn’t it be with Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman?
Ghostbusters – Another timeless classic that the kids love. It’s so fun that this is a movie I watched when I was a kid as did Skylar and Aven. Q isn’t old enough but I can’t wait to watch it with him.
Hotel Transylvania 1 & 2 – If you haven’t jumped on the Hotel Transylvania bandwagon yet, you’re missing out! Quatro is already a huge fan of Count Dracula in both the first and second movies. His giggle is the cutest!
Hocus Pocus – I’m not sure if this would have been a complete Halloween movie list without including Hocus Pocus as it’s a classic around here! Quatro was mesmerized by this movie.
The Book of Life – Such a fun film full of adventure.
Harry Potter – I am a Harry Potter Nerd Freak. I’ve been obsessed since my teacher forced me to read this book in the seventh grade since I read everything on the actual reading list. Nerd here. I feel like this movie fits with all holidays. Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. I watch this on repeat.
The Corpse Bride – I mean can you go wrong with a Tim Burton film? His movies are always a hit and I watch every single one of them just about… every year.
Coraline – Fun kid friendly fave. I love how you appreciate your parents towards the end of this movie. Ha!
Beetlejuice – By far one of my favorite movies growing up as a child.
E.T. – What is Halloween without the classic E.T.?
Casper – He’s a friendly ghost and it’s such a great movie. I was able to watch this with Quatro already and he loved it.
Coco – Great movie. Seriously amazing! This will have you giggling and singing.
The Nightmare Before Christmas – I mean Halloween is supposed to be a nightmare and it’s definitely before Christmas. I remember my uncle took my brother and me to watch this as kids and we cherish this movie even today!
Lots of good watches here that I know you and your littles will love!
